Swiss email that keeps your data in Switzerland. Built by an employee-owned company with 30 years of hosting experience and no outside investors.
Infomaniak Mail is a professional email service from Switzerland's largest cloud company. Infomaniak has been around since 1994 and is fully owned by its employees. No outside investors means no pressure to monetize your data or show you ads. Your emails stay in Swiss data centers in Geneva and Winterthur, and nowhere else.
The free tier gives you 20GB of storage with an @ik.me address. Paid plans start at around 5.75 EUR/month and include unlimited storage, your own domain, and AI writing tools that run on Infomaniak's own Swiss servers. You also get a calendar, contacts, tasks, and integration with kDrive cloud storage. It is part of a bigger suite called kSuite, which bundles video calls and team collaboration if you need them.
Switching over is not complicated. Infomaniak has migration tools that pull in your emails, contacts, and calendar entries from other providers. You can use their webmail, mobile apps, or connect through any standard email client.
Infomaniak Mail does not offer end-to-end encryption. If you need messages encrypted so even the provider can't read them, look at ProtonMail or Tuta instead. Support response times can be hit or miss based on user reviews. And while the company is based in Switzerland (not the EU), it follows both Swiss and EU privacy rules.
Try it free or follow our step-by-step migration guide to make the switch.
